What ultimately sold me on working with Eli was the freshness of her designs. Her understanding of color and pattern led me to believe that together, our aesthetic would flow quite well.

My book, What We’re Looking For Is What Is Looking, is this explosion of color, pattern, and joy, which I believe has a lot to do with her design choices: the interfacial pages, her intuitive sense of layout, her strong and clear vision. People love it. I gave her a general outline of the layout and order, and the finished product ended up very close to my vision, but better, given her own experience and artistic perspective.
